From the moment we sat down at the bar, it was clear this spot takes pride in both its food and drink. We were immedietly given chips and salsa ( I love chips and dips).

We kicked things off with a special cocktail flight that truly stole the show. Each drink was as stunning as it was delicious—

* The **dragon fruit cocktail** was vibrant and tropical,

* The **blackberry pomegranate** delivered deep, fruity richness,

* The **peach cocktail** was perfectly sweet and smooth,

* And the **pear cocktail** was crisp, refreshing, and unique.

It’s rare to find a flight where every drink is a hit, but Agave delivered.

 🌮 Appetizers Worth Sharing (and Saving!)

Don’t underestimate the portion sizes here—especially the appetizers! I ordered the Fajita Nachos with chicken, and it was easily enough for two (or more). Piled high with sizzling fajita-style toppings, creamy queso, and fresh garnishes, it was a satisfying meal in itself. We also tried the entree. The portions were just as big and filling, and every bite was packed with flavor. You can tell the kitchen doesn’t cut corners—everything came out fresh, hot, and seasoned to perfection.

We sat at the bar, and while it took a little longer to get our order in, it was completely understandable considering the craftsmanship going into every drink. The bartender was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the art of mixology. The bar area had a great vibe, making it the perfect spot for a casual night out or a pre-dinner drink. Not to mention the outside dining option that allow views of downtown Fredericksburg.
