The Bi-Weekly Weekend Food Scrap Collection Program is a partnership between the R-Board and FXBG Compost designed to help reduce food waste and promote sustainable composting practices throughout Stafford County and the City of Fredericksburg. From June through November 2026, residents can conveniently drop off food scraps every other weekend at the Fredericksburg Farmers Market and Long Family Market. The program encourages waste reduction, environmental stewardship, and community participation while helping divert organic waste from the landfill.
