Located in the heart of historic Fredericksburg, Fahrenheit 132 is a modern steakhouse offering an elevated dining experience with a focus on exceptional cuts of beef and seasonal ingredients. With its sleek, contemporary atmosphere and commitment to high-quality, locally sourced fare, this restaurant has quickly become a popular destination for both locals and visitors. Whether you're in the mood for a juicy steak, fresh seafood, or a craft cocktail, Fahrenheit 132 promises a memorable dining experience in a cozy yet upscale setting. Fahrenheit 132 is exceptional for a celebration or an upscale date night.

I recently visited Restaurant Fahrenheit 132 Located in the Heart of Historic Downtown Fredericksburg for an upscale dinner to celebrate my boyfriend's graduation from a military school at Quantico.  We arrived promptly around 5:30 and the restaurant was packed. It is a smaller location but service was excellent. After spending what felt like forever to find a place to park we made it inside. I would recommend heading straight to the new parking garage by Sedona Taphouse and Harry’s Bar on Winchester Street if you try to go.

I would encourage everyone who wants to dine here to make reservations. As soon as we walked in the staff greeted us very kindly and even offered to check our coats. I failed to make a reservation but the staff did everything in their power to ensure that we still had the best time. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with rustic wood furnishings and soft lighting creating a cozy vibe. The staff greeted us immediately and was very friendly, explaining the menu and making recommendations.

As soon as we were seated our water glasses were filled and we were offered tap water or sparkling water. Soon after our server arrived and began making drink recommendations. I ordered their version of a lemon drop martini. As well as the Tawny Port Old Fashioned. Both were served beautifully with a flourish that made the simple delivery of drinks a gracious moment.  As for non alcoholic beverages, the sweet tea was also very good. Along with the two drinks we ordered an appetizer of jumbo shrimp cocktail. Priced at $14 it was good, but I honestly expected a little more spice in the cocktail sauce. I am however, from the Deep South, where hot and spicy is the default.

I ordered the Surf and Turf which included my choice of a salmon filet, and a medium rare hanger steak., which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and the steak was so tender and perfect it cut like butter. Along with  the proteins I chose sides of the rosemary mashed potatoes and the truffle mac and cheese. Both of which were phenomenal.  The surf and turf plate was priced at $41 and it was perfect. Lots of amazing food for a great price. My partner had the 14 oz New York Strip Butcher cut with a side of Rosemary Mashed Potatoes, and Truffle Fries, and they also loved it! The portion sizes were just right, not overwhelming but satisfying. The prices were reasonable, with most dishes ranging from $50-$100.

Our server was attentive but not overbearing, checking in with us at the right moments. All the staff stopped to ask us how everything was, and ask us about our experience. Even walking to the restroom the whole staff made an aisle for me and pointed the way. It really made my partner and I feel special. Overall, I would definitely recommend Fahrenheit 132  for a fine dining experience. It is the perfect place to celebrate any occasion.
