Canal Quarter Walking Cat Tour - Top Ten Cats

Sep 17, 2024 01:47PM ● By Laura Carter

We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Canal Quarter Walking Cat Tour, a unique event that brings together cat lovers, history buffs, and local enthusiasts. Hosted by FXBG Advance, Fredericksburg Parent, and proudly sponsored by Haley's Honey Meadery and Canal Quarter Arts, this tour promises a memorable afternoon exploring the charm of the historic Canal Quarter while discovering its feline residents.

Here are the top 10 of the 15+ cats on the tour. You might also see some of the managed colony of feral cats residing on Charles Street and other friendly outdoor cats with homes in the area. (We particularly hope to see the famous and social cat-about-town Dude.) It’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Canal Quarter, learn about its rich history, and meet some of the furry personalities who call this area home.

We invite you to join us on October 12, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, as we begin our adventure at Haley's Honey Meadery. We will end the tour at Canal Quarter Arts, where many of the artists will display and sell their cat art.
