Whether you’re aiming to keep the kids from getting bored or spice up date night, you’ll find a new and improved lineup of state-of-the art entertainment options and craft food and drinks at Paragon Theaters at the Village in Spotsylvania County.

From birthday parties to winter weekends, Paragon is here to help you up the “wow” factor in everyday family life—and it’s all right here in your own backyard.

If you haven’t visited in a while, you’re in for a surprise—from movie seats to gaming offerings and menu items, Paragon has undergone a top-to-bottom makeover to offer an entertainment and dining experience that is unparalleled in the Fredericksburg region.

Here are five reasons to come spend a day (or evening) with us:

“Gamified” Bowling. Think, “Angry Birds' ' meets traditional bowling. We’ve equipped the 14 luxury bowling lanes at Penny Lanes Games & Arcade with Spark augmented-reality technology, giving your family the choice of 15 vibrant interactive digital games that blend with traditional bowling to create a unique interactive experience. Gaming aficionados will appreciate being able to play this along with the rest of the offerings at Penny Lanes, including Jurassic Park, Halo, Connect 4, Tomb Raider, Minecraft and nearly 50 of the most popular arcade games.

Arcade gaming comes to life. For a larger-than-life gaming experience, try Penny Lanes’ new mega arcade hit,  Playbox, which combines old-fashioned carnival skill games with the digital world. From zombies to snowball fights, Playbox gives up to five players at a time a chance to hit digital targets with real projectiles. Challenge your family members for some friendly competition!

Fuel your fun. The Agency Kitchen & Bar ensures that your day of moviegoing or family gaming will be a delicious outing, with something for everyone to enjoy. From street tacos  and Buffalo wings to burgers, and craft pizzas, this menu can please even the pickiest of eaters. Parents can enjoy handcrafted specialty cocktails, a curated wine list and multiple brews on tap.

Escape for a little luxury. Between finding a sitter and managing a busy family schedule, date night can be complicated, but Paragon has you covered.. The 21-and-over crowd can enjoy Paragon Theaters’ Chatterbox lounge upstairs (after 4pm) featuring handcrafted signature cocktails,  But when it comes time to seeing a show, meet Paragon’s newest taste of luxury:  LuxBox VIP Dine-In seating available on the r second-floor mezzanine level. These are hands down the “ Best Seats in the House.” They are oversized leather recliners with heat settings, arranged in semi-private pods with partitions. A unique QR code at your seat allows you to order food and drink from Paragon’s premium concessions or The Agency Kitchen & Bar, so you don’t miss a minute of the show.

The area’s most advanced big-screen experience. Paragon Theaters recently invested in three Axis15 Extreme Screens. These auditoriums feature the largest wall-to-wall screens in the region, tilted at 15 degrees to provide the most comfortable and dynamic viewing experience possible. Paired with 4K laser projection and Dolby Atmos immersive surround sound, you won’t find this kind of viewing experience anywhere else in the area.

Paragon Theaters has been providing memorable entertainment in the Fredericksburg region since 2010. Founded by film industry veterans Mike Whalen and Mike Wilson, Paragon has been a community partner, helping schools and nonprofits with multiple fundraisers and even offering free summer movies for area children.

Paragon Theaters Village is committed to providing the most state-of-the-art entertainment experience in the industry.
