Triton is “where gains happen.”

The gym offers personal training and corrective exercise, powerlifting, nutrition counseling and more. Trident Fitness makes it easy to take the first steps to self-improvement by offering first-time guests a complimentary fitness assessment.

If you have new year goals, want to shed pandemic pounds or just get into shape and make a habit of fitness, Triton can help. Its certified personal trainers are equipped to help individuals at all stages of life with various health goals.

Meet the Trainers

Mark James. An award-winning powerlifter and retired Army veteran, co-owner Mark James’ mission is to serve others and change lives. As a certified personal trainer, he understands the body, nutrition and mental agility, enabling him to tailor fitness programs to the client’s body type and needs. His philosophy is that “exercise is one of the most potent medicines you can self-administer, and it’s free.”

James specializes in weight loss, strength and conditioning with an emphasis on form and technique, metabolic igniting circuit training, powerlifting and nutritional counseling.

Jonalyn Barcarse. A certified personal trainer, Barcarse discovered her love of fitness in the Marine Corps. Her desire to help others reach health and fitness goals led her to learn more about fitness and nutrition. Her philosophy is “Mentality [is greater than] Size.”

Matthew Delahoussaye. Triton’s lead trainer, Delahoussaye specializes in corrective exercise and powerlifting. After two knee dislocations, he began working out with one goal when he became healthy: weight loss. He specializes in powerlifting (emphasizing form and control), corrective exercise, prehab & rehab, flexibility and mobility, and sports performance. Delahoussaye believes “in order to train the large muscles safely, you must train the small ones first.”
