Director of the UMW Small Business Development Center, Susan Ball pivoted quickly to virtual webinars to help business owners adapt to COVID-19, and implemented the new SBA disaster assistance programs. The center assisted 145 businesses in obtaining 7.5 million in assistance from the EIDL, PPP and other programs so far.
