Fredericksburg Parent and Family was proud to host the Fredericksburg Parent Children's Business Fair in conjunction with Spotsylvania Towne Centre. What a wonderful chance for local children to learn about entrepreneurship in a practical and fun way!

Karime Echevarria is an alumni of the Folkloric Dance Company of the University of Ciudad Juárez Mexico. She has performed and taught workshops for for different government agencies in the DC area, and she is the co-owner, and Artistic Director of Virtuous Dance Center. Virtuous Dance Center is a dance studio in Fredericksburg, VA dedicated to inspire dancers to achieve the virtue of excellence through dance.

Nancy Masannat is Owner and Creative Director of Simple Joy Designs. She began 25 years ago in the floral industry as a designer. After many years of practical hands on experience she started her own business offering creative services, everything from home and office decor, to event assistance, gifting and custom florals, using out of the box thinking and creativity combined to create solutions for many aspects of life.

Dr. Tom Van Doren is the COO of Bladeworks division of HDT. He brings his technical expertise to the fair with an extensive engineering background in research and development. Dr. Van Doren leads in growing companies and teams, developing cutting edge technology. He also teaches a class on business development at Johns Hopkins University.

Karen Moschetto is Head of School at Fredericksburg Academy. She has been at the school since 1996 and has seen over 450 students graduate from its program. Ms. Moschetto has a formal background in education and is leading Fredericksburg Academy through its vision and technical integration program.
