We celebrate George every year in February, but let’s not forget about his sister, Betty Washington Lewis. Born on June 20, 1733, we’ll celebrate Betty’s 293rd birthday at her home, Historic Kenmore!

Have some birthday treats and try our teas as you learn about life as a lady in the 18th century. Play games Betty would have enjoyed in life, and try your hand at some crafts. Games, treats, tours, and more!

All tickets include access to birthday festivities. Women’s History House Tours will take place on this day at 11:45am and 1:30pm. Tickets purchased for these times will be for the Women’s History tour only, not for General House Tours. Tour tickets include access to Visitor Center Gallery and birthday festivities. Visitor Center Admission will be purchased on-site, day-of, and only include access to the Gallery and birthday festivities.
