The Virginia Renaissance Faire typically starts each spring in Spotsylvania, Va. The 2026 revelry and merriment will take place at Lake Anna Winery over the course of five weekends – Saturdays and Sundays, May 9 through June 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ticket sales will start in mid-March. Tickets are available only online, are nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged. Attractions at Staffordshire Village usually include a bustling marketplace featuring a wide selection of wares and services. Feast on food such as turkey legs, jerky, pizza, funnel cakes and other desserts, fries, subs, gyros, kettle corn, Italian sausages, and much more. Visitors enjoy living history demonstrations on jousting, archery, and blacksmithing, with plenty of silly renaissance-themed fun for children, as well as royal court antics, variety shows, circus acts, magic shows, Celtic harpers, wandering minstrels, shanty singers, musical history tours, pipes and drums musicians, and other must-see acts.
