‘It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’ve been or what you’ve done—you matter to God, and that means you matter to us’ are the first words to greet you on Stafford Crossing Community Church’s website.
It’s a typical greeting at the church, which is comprised of real people living real lives, making mistakes, experiencing joy, doing the best they can with what they have—all while taking their next steps toward Christ and helping others do the same.
Senior Pastor Darryl Mossley or another teaching pastor offers encouraging, challenging and relevant messages to daily life. The church’s values guide and direct how it carries out its mission and ministries.
Newcomers to the church are treated like family. They’ll even save a parking space for you—just drive up the hill to the church, put the blinkers on and “parkers” will guide you to a spot. First-time guest team members are ready to help secure a seat ticket if you don’t already have one, and they’ll show you where it’s located.
While Kids Crossing (for newborns to grade 5) isn’t meeting at this time, children can continue to have a great church experience learning about Jesus from home. Participants click the button on the website to find the weekly Bible lesson video, verse and activity page. Follow Kids Crossing on Facebook or Instagram to find tips to initiate faith conversations at home during the week.
Fusion Student Ministry (for grades 6-12) is geared to help students trust and follow Jesus. Start off with a snack, play a game and talk with friends before worship and lessons followed by group discussions to talk in-depth about the Bible.
Stafford Crossing Community Church is located at 1420 Forbes Street, in Fredericksburg. Due to COVID-19, the office is closed until further notice.
