Lauren Malloy is a lover of all things floral. She’s a creative, passionate, faith-filled and fully caffeinated entrepreneur and influencer. You can catch her running her PR firm from home or a kids’ play place and coordinating play dates that include wine. Her daughters Olivia and Naomi keep her on her toes and take the title of “Daddy’s girls” a little too seriously. She and her husband, Arnold, have been married for almost a decade and have yet to agree on what movie to watch on date night.

Born and raised in Syracuse, New York, she attended Delaware State, a historically black university, where she earned a Bachelor of Social Work.

Ready to change the world, Lauren moved to her husband’s hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, after college. Her husband’s job in sports landed them back in Syracuse, where she began a decade of working with under-represented undergraduates at Syracuse University while earning her Master of Communication in Public Relations.

Lauren started her public relations and events firm after graduate school hoping to inspire, encourage and assist women on their journey into starting small businesses, conquering life and blooming through it all!

Her adventure continued with her husband’s job relocating the family to Fredericksburg in 2020. All the moving and changing of careers taught Lauren to bloom where she was planted. Her blog, Bloom to Flourish, which she started in 2017, encourages women to do just that.

She joins Fredericksburg Parent & Family Magazine as a blogger. Blooming in the Burg’ is all about family life in FXBG and creating a life that flourishes. The self-crowned #wifemothercoffeelover loves her faith, cocktails, being creative, meeting new people, cooking, traveling and making memories with her family.
