Any Halloween lovers out there? There's just something so fun and exciting about this holiday! Granted, it can be a little spooky for young kids ( even big kids! ). There's no better way to help explain trick-or-treating and get kids excited, than with storytime! We've picked a few books that are either lighthearted and fun, or help make Halloween seem a little less scary. We even threw in a few titles for older kids that want a chilling ghost story, but really don't need the gore, or adult situations. We think you guys will abso-BOO-tly love them!

Descriptions are from their publishers on Amazon.

Room On The Broom- The witch and her cat are happily flying through the sky on a broomstick when the wind picks up and blows away the witch's hat, then her bow, and then her wand! Luckily, three helpful animals find the missing items, and all they want in return is a ride on the broom. But is there room on the broom for so many friends? And when disaster strikes, will they be able to save the witch from a hungry dragon?

As Mouse explains, the gruffalo is a creature with terrible claws, and terrible tusks in its terrible jaws, and knobbly knees and turned-out toes, and a poisonous wart at the end of its nose. But Mouse has no worry to show. After all, there’s no such thing as a gruffalo.
