Like it or not, summer is nearly at a close. While we mourn the end of summer and scramble to fit in one more day at the pool, let’s also start getting excited about how awesome this upcoming season is!

Top Ten Best Things About Fall

 

1The crisp fall air. Granted, we’ve had an amazing summer weather-wise.  It was picture perfect! Nothing beats the chilly, fresh air in the Fall, though. Nothing.

2 Your favorite shows come back to TV!  We've been waiting on the edge of our seats for months now! It's finally time to immerse ourselves back into our favorite storylines and catch up with our favorite characters. So, throw open those windows (for the chilly fall air, of course), grab a snack and a blanket, and get ready to get sucked in all over again.

3Fall scents and flavors. We’re not talking about pumpkin spice everything, either. Fall soups and stews, steaming mugs of cider and chai lattes, and the smell of leaves and fireplaces are just a few of the awesome fall scents and flavors that we're looking forward to!

4The return of yoga pants. You know what we’re talking about. It's too hot to wear yoga pants in the summer. As soon as cooler weather hits, though, mamas everywhere fully embrace yoga pants whenever possible. So comfortable! So versatile! So flattering!

5 Football season. Whether you're tailgating at a big game, watching your kid play his heart out on the field, or just spending time as a family cheering on your team, football season is full of happy memories and memories waiting to be made.

6Kids going back to school. We love our kids, but we love having our normal routine back, too!

 

7Daylight savings time ending. Unless you have baby or toddler on your hands, the end of Daylight Savings Time is totally a day worth celebrating! One extra hour of sleep? Yes, please!

8Pumpkin picking with the kids. Such a sweet family moment that we look forward to every year. Remember to charge your camera and wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy!

9Octoberfest In Downtown Fredericksburg- It just gets bigger and better every year! Food, music, and now there are even kid's events. Who cares that it's technically not in October? It's a blast! Remember to check the weather report before you go. The weather is crazy in September. You may need to bring sunscreen or a poncho!

10 Adorable children and pets dressed up for Halloween- Come October, Facebook will be filled to the brim with pictures of people’s kids and pets dressed up in adorable costumes. It’s amazing and keeps us smiling through the work day.
