  6. Experiences. College is a time for new experiences, so consider giving a gift that will help your student create some lasting memories. This could include tickets to a concert, sporting event or play. It could also be a gift certificate to a restaurant or spa.

  7. Clothes and accessories. College students are always on the go, so they need clothes and accessories that are both comfortable and stylish. A new pair of jeans, a hoodie or a backpack would be appreciated.

  8. Personal care items. College students often have to juggle classes, work and extracurricular activities, so they don't always have time to take care of themselves. A gift basket filled with personal care items, such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, go a long way.

  9. Food and snacks. If your teen is known for being a snacker a gift basket filled with their favorite snacks and candies would be a hit. You could also give them a gift certificate to a restaurant or grocery store.

  10. Gifts that show you care. The best gifts are the ones that show that you care about your student and their interests. This could be anything from a personalized gift to a donation to their favorite charity in their name.

No matter what you choose, make sure it's a gift that your student will love and appreciate. The most important thing is to show them how much you care.
